Padel is scored like tennis. Points go 15, 30, 40 and game; the first pair to win six games, two clear, takes the set, with a tie-break at 6-6. Matches are usually best of three sets. At 40-40 most clubs play golden point, where the next point wins the game, while professional events now use the star point.
